Call for Modules!
We are looking to assemble an outstanding Ntrak layout on the West Coast for the 2008 National Train this July in Anaheim. So get your name on the list as soon as possible! Clubs are particularly welcome. Ntrak, Ntrak2000 and other module configurations are welcome. oNetrak and BeNdtrack modules can be accommodated with notice. Please join us for one of the coolest layouts ever.

The Southern California N Scale Council was created in 1999 by members from five local Ntrak and N Scale clubs who became actively involved in designing and developing the 2000 National Ntrak Convention in San Jose, CA and needed a vehicle to plan and execute the event. SoCal N is the coordinating site for all N Scale and Ntrak clubs in Southern California. It is our purpose to use the influence and impact of hundreds of active and enthusiastic model railroaders from throughout the southern part of our state to promote and encourage our hobby to young and old.
Participating clubs can be found from Bakersfield to San Diego, and all points in between. We count among our clubs some of the oldest and best-known layouts and scale model railroad operations in the world. We invite you to investigate our site; become familiar with the member clubs, their websites, and their activities; attend the events and programs that you find on our calendar and get actively involved in "the world's greatest hobby". Clubs are almost always looking for new members and they are a great way to learn more about the hobby and get started with a lot of encouragement from your colleagues.
SoCal N is actively involved in the public promotion of scale model railroading and coordinates a speakers' bureau on topics ranging from getting into the hobby to rail safety for young people-Operation Lifesaver. You can also contact us to find out more about our Ntrak "modular" layouts that can be transported for display at venues around the area.
