Group 160/Burbank Ntrak Club is pleased to announce a limited edition issue of three maintenance of way cars produced exclusively for the club by DeLuxe Innovations.
The three cars are former Southern Pacific Cars, purchased by the club's railroad, Route 160. Each car is repainted and stenciled with it's new owner's reporting marks (BNTK) and the purpose of the car. The covered hopper is labeled "Sand Service Only", and is used to carry sand to remote engine facilities. The Boxcar is labeled for Tool service. The other hopper is a unique car that the Espee rebuilt by "can opening" the top of a two bay covered hopper. It is now a two bay open hopper, used for ballast service. The model carries a ballast load from Fine N Scale Products.
The cars are built and decorated by DeLuxe Innovations for Group 160/Burbank Ntrak Club. Each shrink wrapped set sell for $45.00 each plus $5.00 shipping and handling, with the proceeds going to the maintaince of the club's touring modular railroad. You can mail your check or money order to:
